Mythology Summative Reading Assesment Reflection

On the pretest in the beginning of the unit and the assessment ant the end of the unit, I wrote almost the same thing except on the summative I explained why I thought Sisyphus did not change during the myth, what I thought the theme was (of Sisyphus' myth), and what I thought the term 'Sisyphian Task' meant. Also, I wrote much more and with more detail on the summative. (One thing I noticed is that I started both the assessments with 'The main character, Sisyphus, does not change during  the events of the myth.' !)

This shows I know how to get the right answer. I need to work on reading the questions properly (& making models).

1. What does it mean to divide fractions? Dividing a fraction by another fraction is the same thing as multiplying the fraction in the numerator by the reciprocal of the fraction in the denominator. 2. Why does multiplying by the reciprocal work when dividing fractions? A fraction multiplied by it's reciprocal is always one. This can be proven by this example here: Through this example, we know that a fraction multiplied by it's reciprocal will always be one. If you had the problem 4/5 divided by 1/2, it would be the same as multiplying 4/5 by 2/1 (1/2's reciprocal) to get 8/5, which simplifies to 1 3/5. Now because of this rule, multiplying by the reciprocal works when dividing fractions. An example of this is:  Another example would be:

This shows that I know multiplication of fractions and I know how to make a multiplication models. This shows I need to work on the basics of adding fractions.

1. Did one of your photographs show more than one of the 5 categories outlined in this assignment? If so which one and how? I feel my atypical angle also could fall under the texture category as well as in the rule of third category. The baby toy in my atypical angle was very close to the camera (I used macro lense) and you can see the texture of the wood on the beads and the beads up close are on the thirds line. 2. If you could do this assignment again what would you do differently? Maybe I could've spent more time looking for shadows, because I couldn't find any natural shadows. 3. Which photo was your best? Explain Why? I feel my sand dunes looked the coolest because it could be three different things; close up on sand, helicopter view of sand, or a maze that never ends. To take these photos, I took many random photos of everything I thought looked cool. With editing though, that's where I got all the effects and feeling from.
