This shows that I know all that I need to so far, but can still trip when actually reading the question . I need to really re-read the questions.

Unit 2 Partner Quiz Reflection

1.  It shows I know all the basics, but not 'over the top' knowledge.  2.  I need to review at home more often instead of only on Saturday. 3.  4:6 and 10:15 are equal because they both can be reduced to 2:3. (2:3 x 2= 4:6, 2:3 x 5= 10:15)

Fractions and Ratios

All fractions are ratios, but not all ratios are fractions. How are they (fractions and ratios) similar? How are they (fractions and ratios) different? Fractions and ratios are similar because fractions are part to  whole, and ratios can also be part to whole. They (fractions and ratios) can be different because ratios aren't always part to whole. Ratios can also be part to part. For example: sugar to salt = 5:7, which is part to part. If you have to turn the sugar to salt problem into a fraction, it would be 5/12 (part to whole). 5 would be the sugar and 7+5=12  and twelve is the whole. When are fractions useful? When are ratios useful? Fractions are useful when you're dividing up a cake for a group of people. For example, you have 12 guests and you have a vanilla cake that you want to give to everyone. For some reason, 5 people don't want vanilla. So, 5/12 will not have cake, but 7/12 will. Ratios are useful when comparing the amounts of two things. For example:...
